A loose coalition of eco-anarchist groups is increasingly launching violent attacks on scientists. Nuclear engineers in Italy, and nanotechnology researchers in Switzerland and Mexico have been targeted with shootings and letter bombs.
Anarchists attack science
Armed extremists are targeting nuclear and nanotechnology workers.

ELF 2.0 they're not, and I disagree with the violence against people, but it's about time someone reminded clicktivists what it means to take a risk to stand for something.
Insanity
What do you exactly mean +Ben Li? The risks scientist take that might be met with a letter bomb?!
+Sander Timmer: Why the accusatory tone?
"I disagree with the violence against people" but I don't mind seeing people take risks to realize their goals. I therefore have more respect for ELF (even though I disagree with them on substance) than most modern clicktivists (which whom I sometimes agree on substance) who call themselves activists.
+Ben Li I just wasn't so sure what you mean and also with your additional comment I'm not 100%, though I guess we both agree strongly on that letter bombs and physical violence is never the solution when you disagree
