Finally a Nobel peace prize winner that is worth it!
After the debacle of handing it out to the EU and a president that loves going to war this year they decided to do it differently. This year the prize goes to an organisation that is actually working on making this planet more peaceful and the recent Syria issue shows the value of these kind of inter governmental institutes. Congrats +OPCW!

Another example of why the Peace Prize is considered a laughing stock.
Given to an org that has failed pretty much everywhere, but then, is it really any surprise, given how much of a joke this award has become
Russia missed the deadline
US missed the deadline
Syria used CWs
Giving this org the peace prize is as much of a joke as Obama getting it when he didnt do anything yet.

What they have done is like picking up a few empty bottles on the curb, while mountains of trash sit on the sidewalk, and calling it "progress".
