Does love the new +Google+ photos but does still wish at some point he would be allowed to upload also his RAW pictures to have the full thing in the cloud (and I'd expect more magic from the auto enhanced stuff when it has access to the full deal).

Apparently the picasa desktop software can upload RAW, if you enable "upload photo's at full size".

really? In the past that meant he would just create JPGs with the largest resolution possible… Can you also get the RAW images back out of the cloud? And are the then 1:1 the same as the original?

Ah I see you can even upload directly NEF files through the browser….. cool!
