May this traitor to western society rot in his sudo cell
+Noel Beale Hello troll 😉
+Noel Beale can you elaborate with concrete examples why this Australian is a traitor?
+Sander Timmer Because he has shown again and again, he was willing to betray the free nations of the west, in a manner that directly provided aid to the enemies of the west. If you cant figure out the where and how he did this, you havent been paying attention to anything Wikileaks has done in the past few years.
+Noel Beale Can you give a concrete example of where what wikileaks (or NY times or Guardian or Post) has posted from wikileaks gave a direct danger to the "west" and is miss-used as such?
What wikileaks did do is point out some essential flaws in how we let our governments by playing cowboy abroad fuel future terrorists.
In the end those drone attacks will create way more haters of the west than any wikileak document did (or do you really think that the illiterate people of, for example Pakistan, go online to read through 1000nds of documents to justify their anger against the west?!)
+Sander Timmer While the "illiterate people of, for example Pakistan" wont read it, it has been shown beyond debate that Al Qaeda and their clones did. More, his efforts were not directed at exposing "crimes", but at exposing everything, even the backroom efforts to secure peace and cooperation from the West's allies.
As such, it is clear he chose his side, and it is also clear that side is NOT the same as the Free Western Nations and their populations.
Free Western Nations, as in free to do anything they want to other nations without consequence (if consequence call it terrorism)?
+Anders Alm There is no such thing as "without consequences", but then there is also a major difference between exposing wrong actions, and exposing everything.
Assange is like a guy that found a video of the bank manager stealing, but then decides to not only release the video, but the name, address, SS#, account number and PIN of every bank customer as well.
This is why he is a traitor, and not simply a fighter for freedom. He didnt seek to simply espouse "crimes", he sought to espouse everything he could, no matter what it contained or who he exposed to life threatening dangers.
And the worst part, is when he himself was caught out for criminal acts, he rejected them in the very same way as he accused others of, showing he actually cares nothing for the laws and freedom of information, only for what serves his own selfish agenda.
I know there is no such thing as "without consequences", but its what many seem to expect, including Assange.
And I dont really care too much about Assange, but using the term "Free Western Nations" as a some sort of role model or a honourable institution is, to me, a joke. If I had to name any traitors it would be the corrupted people in power, pretending to themselves and others to be a force of good. But that goes for pretty much all nations, not only the west.
Get people out of politics 😛
Julian Assange, attacking the governments of the 'west' with his western values.
