Research by the Nederlands Dagblad has shown that Max Havelaar Foundation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stichting_Max_Havelaar) is not paying a single penny more for the "fair-trade" products they buy from the farmers. Even more shockingly is that most farmers didn't even knew they are part of a "fair-trade" foundation that should give them a better price. Research from the new paper has shown that the additional money people spent on these "fair trade" products is actually spent on the organisation of the foundation. So-much for the world first fair-trade certification #FAIL or #FRAUD?!

Maybe it is an idea to boycott 'Fair Trade' products in the Dutch supermarkets? I for one will do so anyway.
Figures. That is really depressing.
What else to expect from EKOwhatever?
