Rowing in Cambridge at +Cambridge University is all about 2 major events, Lent Bumps and May Bumps – 2 events in which the colleges compete on the river cam to settle who has the best team/college this year (Lent Bumps has been held annually since 1887).

This week is Lent Bumps where my team managed to get the first bump in like 500 meters on the first day making us bump up a position and in this case even bump up a division (we're now head of 1 division and bottom of the next division).

The pictures show the last few strokes before bumping the crew in front of us and the actual bump! Look at those scared doctors 🙂
